Member: Thomas Shields COLORADO SPRINGS CO 80920 Category: Heating & A/C Hire Again: Yes Description Of Work: Removal and installation of an 80 percent efficiency gas heater and the installation of a new air conditioner Member Comments: I contacted the company and they sent and individual out to assess the requirements to replace a defective gas heater. Rob sent the estimate via e-mail. He answered all questions, provided updated details when I requested a different unit. He also told me exactly the time he would install the unit and what he would do. He handled everything from the installation, to handling the permit, the inspection, and obtaining the electrician to put in 220 power and a fuse in the fuse box. |

“They serviced both of our furnaces. They did a great job. He checked for gas leaks and carbon monoxide, and changed the filters as well. Their prices were reasonable, and I was happy with their work.” Matthew Wineriter, Colorado Springs, Colorado

TIPS for Energy Efficiency
- A thermostat that is programmable is ideal for people who are away from home during set periods of time. Through proper use of pre-programmed settings, a programmable thermostat can save you money every year in energy costs.
- Keep your thermostat set at 65 degrees for about eight hours a day, and you can save up to 10% on your monthly heating bills.
- If your home has excessive dust, this could be caused by leaky ducts which can pull particles and air from attics, crawl spaces and basements and distribute these particles inside your home. Sealing your ducts may be a solution.
- Dirt and neglect are major reasons for heating and cooling system inefficiency and failure. It is important to perform routine maintenance on your units to ensure efficient and optimum system operation.
